Lövsta Stuteri’s Verbier named Hauptprämie Siegerhengst by the Oldenburg Verband

Lövsta Stuteri’s stallion Verbier (2021, Von und Zu–Dancier, breeder Monika Rösemeier-Harms) has been named Hauptprämie Siegerhengst by the Oldenburg Verband, one of the highest quality distinctions for young stallions within the Oldenburg association.

- " “We are so proud! Verbier is the first Swedish-owned stallion to win this award. The distinction is an outstanding confirmation of both Verbier’s own performance and his excellent ability to pass on his qualities at such a young age,” said Malin Cohlin, Breeding Manager at Lövsta Stuteri.

The Hauptprämie distinction is a further step in the Oldenburg Verband’s selection process for breeding stallions. Once the stallions have completed their performance test and their first offspring have been inspected, they are evaluated both on their own performance and on their ability as sires. The top three four- and five-year-old stallions in dressage and jumping are then presented and ranked during the main licensing, and a Hauptprämie winner is selected in each category.

That Verbier is already being recognised by the Oldenburg Verband is clear confirmation of his quality – both as an individual and as a sire. His first foal crop has shown very good type, elasticity and expression, which, together with his strong stallion performance test, placed him at the top of this year’s evaluation.

Verbier, who is stationed in Germany at Gestüt Lodbergen, has been highly sought after during his first two breeding seasons. Clips from the stallion days are available via Clip My Horse här (betalt konto krävs)
