Presentation
Still a Secret is the winner of the 2026 stallion performance test in Sweden and was also awarded premium stallion status at his Oldenburg licensing.
Still A Secret was described at the stallion performance test as refined, elegant, and naturally uphill in his frame. He was awarded scores of 9 for walk, 9.5 for trot, and 10 for canter for his gaits. The walk is regular and energetic with a large overtrack. The trot is regular, relaxed, and elastic with very good carrying ability. The canter is balanced, elastic, with a good range and an uphill tendency.
Still A Secret was highly praised for his talent, attitude, and rideability during the test. The test riders commended his good balance, nice contact, and range.
Pedigree
The sire, Secret, was World Championship silver medalist in 2019 and Bundeschampion in 2020, and already has over 1,000 offspring. His progeny excel as stallions, at auctions, and in competition. At the 2024 Young Horse World Championships, Secret was the sire of 15 participants, ten of them in the 6-year-old class. Secret is a son of the triple Young Horse World Champion Sezuan, who won as a five-, six-, and seven-year-old. The dam line of Secret has produced both international sport horses and approved stallions, including Aktuell, Christ, Sorento, Weltruf, and Wildfang.
The dam, Bellissima, has produced an Oldenburg-approved son, Jovial. The granddam, Dantine, has produced the approved stallion Bayard (Prix St. Georges), and the great-granddam, Andona, produced Der Edelstein at Prix St. Georges level.
In the fourth generation appears Antine, who produced Rubinstein I (approved stallion, Grand Prix) and his full brother Rubinstein II, also approved. The dam line also includes Rembrandt (Nicole Uphoff, Olympic gold), Ahlerich (Dr. Reiner Klimke, Olympic gold), Amon (Annemarie Sanders-Keijzer, Grand Prix), and Bordeaux (Isabel Freese, approved stallion, Grand Prix).
He descends from the renowned Herbert De Baey mare line, foundation mare Dodona, Westphalian line 454.
