Don Auriello

In 2016, Tinne and Don Auriello took second during the World Cup finals in Gothenburg, right behind Hans Peter Minderhoud and Glock’s Flirt. In August it was time for Tinne’s seventh Olympic Game and Don Auriello’s second. Together with the Swedish team, they finished fifth and achieved their best individual results so far, seventh in the Grand Prix Special and eight in the Freestyle. During 2017, “Anton” received a break in the competition after an injury, but hopefully he will be back in the ring again during 2018.

Louise “Lussan” Nathhorst saw Don Auriello in Hagen 2010, when attending the Medien Cup with his rider at the time, Birgit Wellhausen-Henschke. He came to Lövsta later that same year. During the winter season in Florida 2010/2011, Don Auriello and Tinne did their first Grand Prix. In May 2011 he was the world’s best nine-year-old dressage horse according to FEI’s World ranking. 2012 they won the GP and Grand Prix Special in Rotterdam.

In December 2012, Don Auriello and Tinne broke the Swedish record in both Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle, at the World Cup in Stockholm. In March 2014 they had their best ride ever in the Grand Prix Special, with 77.8 percent. They were the anchor to the Swedish team in the European Championships summer of 2015 and secured a spot for the team at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
